LOOKING FOR A FRANCE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER..
with serious je ne sais quoi?
Now, if I were any kind of salesman, I’d do this whole page in French. But, even though I love to shoot weddings in France, the language kinda eludes me. C’est la vie (that’s all I know).
I’ve shot lots of weddings in France, mostly in the south and around the Dordogne. Often in wildly impressive châteaux. A fairy-tale château offers the ultimate, stunning wedding venue. It’s all jaw-dropping beauty, towering spires, ornate staircases, immaculate grounds and sparkling lakes. It’s pretty dreamy. Whether you’re going for small and intimate or large scale extravagance, France is bursting with majestic châteaux and the right one for you is out there.
If a chateau doesn’t really butter your croissant, there are lots of other options across the Channel. In the South of the country, head to Avignon for sun-baked, lavender-lined villas with stunning gardens if an outdoor Provençal wedding festooned with fairy lights is the stuff of your fantasies. Somewhere like Le Château La Tour Vaucros will completely blow your mind.
I am…
A wealth of knowledge on getting married in France
Well connected to a range of French wedding suppliers
Well versed in shooting abroad
A proper photojournalistic snapper
Into taking “real” photos of real people
A believer in natural and unposed images
Seriously good fun to have around
I am not…
Going to make you pose or pull silly faces
The type to try and stage a great shot
Going to turn up on a bicycle with a bagutte
Going to miss a thing at your wedding
So, if you’re looking for wedding photography in France (or anywhere else for that matter) and you feel that my style doth butter your croissant, please do check my availability and request an eBrochure.

“Hands down the best decision we made about the wedding was asking you to be our photographer.”
Jess & Erjan
A few of my favourite venues in France that I’ve had the pleasure to shoot include: Chateau la Durantie, Logis de Puygaty, Chateau de Cazenac, Chateau Goujonnerie, Chateau de Malliac, Chateau de Vieux-Mareuil, Chateau Soulac, Chateau de Berne, Chateau les Merles, Chateau la Gauterie and Chateau de la Bourlie.
One that I saw recently that really stood out, you might recognise it from the Channel 4 doc Escape to the Chateau: Chateau-de-la-Motte Husson. An outrageously beautiful French chateau set within twelve acres of breathtaking parkland. It features a majestic moat, an Art Deco orangery, a walled garden and numerous outbuildings and stables, not to mention the chateau itself, which boasts five floors and forty-five rooms!
For weddings in France, I can stay for as many days as you like. The day before your wedding is a perfect opportunity to sort logistics, scout out your venue and meet up to say bonjour. You’ll be pleasantly surprised to learn that my prices don’t change massively for weddings across the Channel.
I limit my diary to around 30 weddings per year, so don’t drag your feet!
