“You instantly made us feel comfortable and relaxed! You also have an exceptional eye for finding the perfect spot for a great photo. We absolutely love the variety of photos we have from the shoot. Now we cannot wait to see the photos from the big day!”
Pre-wedding photo shoot in London
Ben & Fran have been dating since they were 15! They met in the very glamorous Gloucester Bus Station as they regularly both caught the same bus home. A very infrequent and unreliable bus out to the sticks!
Ben proposed shortly after their 10 year anniversary in St Pancras Champagne Bar. A special spot as their first place together was in a flat opposite the station. It was a huge surprise for Fran, which was nice after the ‘expectations of it happening on the 10 year anniversary!’ It was a no-brainer that we started the pre-wedding shoot in the very spot the proposal took place.
They told me neither of them particularly enjoy having their photos taken and were slightly nervous ahead of the shoot. Especially having photos taken somewhere as busy and public as London!
After the fact I asked how they found the whole experience of having a pre-wedding photo shoot. “You instantly made us feel comfortable and relaxed! That paired with a glass or 2 of champagne! We didn’t feel pressured to do the ‘cheesy smile’ or awkward poses. It all felt really easy! You also have an exceptional eye for finding the perfect spot for a great photo. One of our favourite pics was taken under a dark and grotty stairwell!”
Probing further I asked, what are you most looking forward to about your wedding day? “Our Wedding day will be a big party with all of our friends and family, we can’t wait! It’s not everyday everyone can get together so we want to make the most of it!” Sounds like it’s going to be a party to remember! Best get that Champers on ice guys!
