“We both loved working with you and have already recommended you to many friends and family members”
Horton Church ceremony and reception The Kingscote Barn
I love the story of how these two met. It was in a pub, The Royal Oak Cromhall, where Shanice worked as a waitress and Chris was a regular drinker. He got her number from the kitchen white board and text her saying ‘guess who?’ From then on in it is history. They also got engaged in a pub. They love a pub! My kinda people.
What was your wedding inspiration?
The inspiration for the day was for everyone to have good time and be relaxed. We also as the couple just wanted a relaxing day and spend time with our friends and family. The decor was based around champagne gold colour scheme. We decorated the venue with lots of grand flowers and fairy lights.
Describe some of your favourite wedding details and how you came up with them.
1. Mirror with the table plan. My mum found a old mirror frame and re-sprayed it gold and then brought a mirror to fit within the frame from a charity shop, which then we had Emma Sunderland write our guest table plan onto the mirror.
2. Chris made and designed a pallet sign to go on the road outside the venue.
3. Sloe gin which we personally made 6 months before and was our wedding guest favours.
Why did you want Kingscote Barn Wedding Photos?
With my mum being a florist I have seen lots of venues and have always had a soft spot for Kingscote. It is well suited venue for Chris and I, we both love the country setting of within Kingscote and love the barn decor including the beams and Cotswold stone.
Tell me about the dress.
After many many dress shops I thought I was never going to find a dress which i would love. Until i visited Allison Jayne Bridal-wear. My dress was in the window and the first and last day i tried on. I love the pearls which run across my back and the lace design which went throughout the dress.
Black suits and bow ties
